ITALIAN STRING BEAN SALAD 
1-2 lb. string beans
3-4 cloves garlic
Splash of vinegar
1/4 c. olive oil
Salt and pepper
1/2 tsp. oregano

Wash and cut string beans. In large pot, steam beans in a little water and salt. Cook firm not soft. Rinse with cold water. In large bowl add garlic, crushed, oil, oregano, splash vinegar, salt, and pepper. Mix well. Add string beans; mix all together. Chill and serve. Can be eaten warm.
