ITALIAN CREAM CAKE WITH FROSTING | |
5 eggs 1/2 c. Crisco 1 stick butter 2 c. sugar 2 c. flour 1 c. buttermilk 1 tsp. baking soda 1 can coconut 1 c. chopped pecans 1 tsp. vanilla Cream Crisco, butter, and sugar. Add egg yolks and flour. Mix. Add rest of ingredients. Fold in egg whites. Bake in 3 x 9 inch pans at 350 degrees until done. FROSTING: 1/2 stick butter 8 oz. cream cheese 1 box powdered sugar 1 tsp. vanilla Sprinkle a little coconut and pecans on top of icing. |
