CHERRY CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1 pkg. devil food cake mix
3 eggs
1 can cherry pie filling
1/3 c. Crisco oil
1 pkg. chocolate instant pudding

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour rectangular pan, 13 x 9 x 2 inches. Beat eggs in a large bowl, stir in cake mix, pie filling and oil until blended. Spread into pan and bake 35-40 minutes until done. Surface of cake will be lumpy. Cool completely, prepare instant pudding according to directions for a pie. Let set about 5-10 minutes. Spread over cake. Garnish with whipped cream if desired. Store in refrigerator until ready to serve.
