BAKED STEW 
2 lbs. cubed stew meat
3 sliced med. carrots
2 chopped onions
3 med. potatoes
1 pkg. frozen peas
1/4 c. sweet or sour pickle juice or cooking wine
1 can tomato soup
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 bay leaf

Put all ingredients in large casserole. Cover tightly. Bake 5 hours at 275 degrees.
