MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN 
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
1/4 c. dark corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Put brown sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt in 2 quart dish. Microwave on High for 3 minutes, stir thoroughly, microwave 2 more minutes on High. Then add baking soda and vanilla. Mix thoroughly. Pour mixture over 4 quarts pre-popped popcorn in paper sack. Fold top down, microwave 1 1/2 minutes on High, take bag out and shake very well (15 times). Return to microwave, 1 1/2 minutes on High. Again, shake 15 times. Pour onto cookie sheets to cool. Store in air tight container(s).

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
