1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour, sifted
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. sour cream
1/4 c. sugar & 2 tsp. cinnamon (mix together)

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; beat until fluffy. Sift the flour, soda and salt together. Add the dry ingredients alternately with the sour cream. Mix thoroughly. Drop by teaspoonful onto lightly grease sheet. Top sprinkle with a little cinnamon and sugar mixture. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes or less.
