FREEZER COLE SLAW | |
1 head cabbage, about 2 lbs. 2 c. sugar 1/2 c. water 1 tsp. mustard seed 1 green pepper, grated 1 tsp. salt 1 c. vinegar 1 tsp. celery seed 1 carrot, grated Grate cabbage. Mix salt with cabbage. Let stand 1 hour. Mix together remaining ingredients. Boil 1 minute. Cool dressing mixture. Drain cabbage. Mix dressing with cabbage and freeze in freezer containers. |
