3 c. sugar
2/3 c. Karo
1 c. nuts
1 c. water
3 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla

Boil sugar, Karo and water until solution forms a soft ball in cold water. Have egg whites beaten very stiff. Add 1/2 of boiling solution to egg whites pouring very slowly and beating carefully. Place other half of solution back on range and cook until it forms a hard ball in cold water. Remove from fire and pour all together with other mixture which should have been beaten all of the time while all the last mixture is cooking. Add nuts and flavoring. Beat until creamy. Drop from large tablespoon on platter.
