BANANA SPLIT CAKE 
2 c. graham cracker crumbs
1 stick melted butter
8 oz. room temperature cream cheese
2 c. sifted confectioners' sugar
5 bananas, sliced lengthwise
1 lg. can crushed pineapple, drained
1 stick soft butter
8 oz. container Cool Whip

Mix crumbs with melted butter. Press into 9 x 13 inch pan. Beat cream cheese, soft butter and confectioners' sugar together with electric mixer. Spread over graham cracker crust. Place sliced bananas over cheese mixture. Place drained pineapple over bananas. Top with Cool Whip, chopped nuts and cherries, if desired. Refrigerate.
