I've had some of these delicious baby tarts. I will have to make some for New years eve. It sounds so easy to make!

Would have been extremely helpful to note how many mini tarts could be made from this recipe. Attempted to make 18 tart shells (guessing from dough size prepared) and had too much filling leftover. Perhaps it was 24 shells - as noted in similar recipes on this site that I found afterwards, while trying to understand what went wrong? Tarts were otherwise tasty and easy to prepare.

This recipe makes 24 mini-tarts. I divide the dough into 24 equal-sized balls before pressing them into the tins.

I hate baking, but the crust is so easy, you can not mess it up. The filling was really good, too. I didn't put the pecans in the filling. I poured the filing in the shell, then I chopped one pecan each tart and then mixed it in each individual shell so there would be even pecans in all of them.

Great recipe.... But I would have to say it only makes 16-18 mini tarts. And you will have left over filling.
