HEARTY BEAN SOUP O'BRIEN | |
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can chicken broth 1/2 c. chopped smoked sausage 1/3 c. cooked and crumbled bacon 2 c. frozen potatoes O'brien (with onions & bell pepper) 1 (15 oz.) can pinto beans (unseasoned) 1 (15 oz.) can Northern beans (unseasoned) 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can diced tomatoes 1 tbsp. roasted garlic butter (Land O' Lakes) Combine the chicken broth, sausage, bacon, and potatoes in soup pot. Cook over medium heat until potatoes are tender but not mushy. Add pinto beans, Northern beans, tomatoes, and garlic butter. Continue cooking for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Makes about 8 servings. |
