THE BEST CHICKEN WILD RICE CHOWDER | |
1 pound boneless skinless chicken thighs 1 quart half n half 4 cups chicken broth 1 pound button mushrooms chopped 3/4 cup wild rice mix salt and pepper, to taste In a large soup pot add the half and half chicken broth and salt and pepper bring to a boil over a medium heat. Add the chicken, mushrooms and wild rice. Simmer for about 45 to 60 minutes. Add flour if you would like it be a little thicker. Serve and Enjoy. Submitted by: Angela Bowles |
