1 lb. confectioners' sugar
1/4 c. soft butter + 1/4 c. Crisco
1/2 c. smooth peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Or 1/2 cup butter flavored Crisco.

Cream shortening, peanut butter and vanilla, add sugar and beat well.
