TOSSED MANDARIN ORANGE - AVOCADO
SALAD
 
2 heads butter lettuce
2 green onions, chopped, greens only
1 can mandarin oranges
1 ripe avocado, sliced

DRESSING:

1/2 c. red wine vinegar
1 c. oil
1 onion or 2 tsp. dry onions
1/2 c. celery seed
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar

Break lettuce into bite-size pieces. Add onion greens, mandarin oranges and avocado. Serve with above dressing. Dressing is better if made the night before.
