STRAWBERRY PIE MIXTURE 
2 qt. strawberries
1 c. water
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. Karo syrup (white)
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 (8 inch) pie shells

Bring to a boil. Add 3 heaping tablespoon strawberry Jello. After mixture comes to a boil, remove from heat. Cool. Pour 1/2 of this into pie crust, add strawberries and pour remaining mixture over berries. Top with whip cream.
