CHAFING DISH MEAT BALLS | |
1 lb. ground beef 1/2 c. bread crumbs 1/3 c. onion, minced 1/4 c. milk 1 tbsp. parsley, snipped 1/4 c. shortening 1 egg 1 oz. chili sauce 10 oz. grape jelly Mix all ingredients except shortening, chili sauce and jelly. Shape into 1-inch balls and brown in melted shortening in large skillet, drain. Heat chili sauce and jelly together; add meat balls and simmer for 30 minutes. Serve hot in chafing dish. Makes 5 dozen. |
