FRUIT SALAD AND DRESSING 
8 apples
1 lg. bunch grapes
4 stalks celery
1/4 c. pecans, chopped

Chop apples and celery. Add grapes and nuts. Cover with the following dressing.

DRESSING:

1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. flour
1 egg
1/4 c. vinegar
1 pt. boiling water

Mix sugar and flour. Beat egg and add to mixture. Beat mixture until smooth. Add vinegar and water. Cook until thick. Cool before pouring over fruit salad.
