CHICKEN PAPRIKAS 
1 chicken cut up or about 4 lbs. parts
1 lg. onion, minced
1 tsp. paprika
1/2 pt. sour cream
2 c. water
2 tbsp. shortening
1 can tomato soup
Salt to taste

Brown onion in shortening. Add paprika and chicken and brown together about 10 minutes. Add water and tomato soup or tomato sauce. Simmer until chicken is tender. Add sour cream slowly, mix well. Simmer another 5 minutes or until gravy is blended. Serve over wide noodles or dumplings.

DUMPLINGS FOR CHICKEN:

3 whole eggs
3 c. flour
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. salt

Beat together eggs, water, salt and flour gradually. Beat until dough is smooth. Drop batter by teaspoonful into boiling salted water. Cook for 10 minutes. Drain. Rinse with cold water and arrange on meat platter with chicken and gravy.
