LENTIL CHILI 
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 lg. can tomato sauce (15 oz.)
4 1/2 c. hot water
1 c. lentils, washed & cleaned
1 c. sliced carrots
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 clove garlic
1 bay leaf
1 c. chopped green pepper
1 med. onion, chopped
2 beef bouillon cubes

Brown hamburger. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for at least 1 hour.
