OLD FASHIONED GREEN BEAN
CASSEROLE
 
1 qt. green beans
1 tsp. sage (variable amount) (opt.)
1 sm. onion
6 slices bacon
1/2 stick butter
2 slices toast
1/2 c. sour cream

In a skillet, saute butter and onion together. To this add the toast, crumbled and let it absorb. In a separate skillet, brown bacon and then crumble it. Drain juice from the green beans and add all ingredients to the green beans. Bake 1/2 hour at 350 degrees.
