4 oz. butter
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. all spice
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. water
1 12/ c. applesauce

Cream butter and sugar well. Add eggs and applesauce. Mix well. Sift flour, salt, and spices together. Add to mixture alternately with water. Lastly add raisins and nuts. Put into a greased shallow pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 50 minutes.
