GARLIC CHIP CHICKEN
1/4 c. butter, melted
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. instant minced garlic
1/8 tsp. pepper
3 lb. broiler-fryer, cut up (about 8 pieces)
2 c. finely crushed potato chips (about 4 oz.)

Place butter in 9 inch pie plate. Microwave uncovered on high (100%) until melted, 30 to 45 seconds. Sprinkle with salt, garlic and pepper. Cut each chicken breast half into halves. Dip chicken into butter mixture; coat with crushed potato chips. Arrange pieces skin sides up with thickest parts to outside edge in baking dish, 12 x 7 1/2 x 2 inches. Microwave uncovered on high (100%) 10 minutes; rotate baking dish 1/2 turn. Microwave until thickest parts of chicken are done, 8 to 12 minutes longer. Let stand 5 minutes. 6 or 7 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
