1 box chocolate cake mix (be sure it has no pudding in the mix)
1 (4 oz.) box cooked (not instant) chocolate pudding
1 (12 oz.) bag chocolate chips
2 c. milk
Chopped nuts (optional)

Make pudding according to package directions. Add dry cake mix to warm pudding and mix with spoon. Pour into greased 13 x 9 inch cake pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts. Bake according to cake directions.
