CABBAGE SLAW 
1 (3 oz.) pkg. chicken-flavored Ramen noodles
6 c. shredded cabbage
2 carrots, grated
1/2 lg. green bell pepper, chopped
1/2 c. toasted sunflower kernels
1/2 c. sliced almonds
1/2 c. vegetable oil
3 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper

Remove seasoning packet from noodles package, set aside. Break up noodles. Combine noodles, cabbage, carrots, bell pepper, sunflower kernels and almonds in a large bowl.

Combine seasoning packet and remaining ingredients. Mix with a wire whisk. Pour dressing over the cabbage mixture. Toss gently to coat. Cover and chill.
