1 1/2 c. water
1/2 c. salt
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tbsp. oil
Food coloring
2 tbsp. powdered alum

Mix water and salt in pan, heat until bubbles appear on bottom of pan. Remove from stove, pour immediately into dry mixture (flour and alum). Add oil to dry mixture before you add liquid. Stir all at once. Add food coloring, knead with hands until mixed. Store in plastic bags.
