FRIKADELLER 
1 1/2 lbs. ground steak
1/2 lb. ground pork
1 onion, grated
3-4 slices white bread
Milk or cream
1/8 tsp. pepper
4 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
Shortening & hot fat

Grind meat 3 or 4 times. Add onion and bread softened in milk. Mix well. Add remaining ingredients (except shortening and fat). Use milk or cream to hold mixture and form into meatballs. Put shortening in pan to heat. Place each meatball in pan with a spoon which has been dipped in hot fat and fry until light brown. Make gravy by adding more liquid to the pan gravy; thicken with mixture of flour and milk or cream.
