BETTY CROCKER PASTRY | |
1/3 c. & 1 tbsp. shortening 1 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 2-3 tbsp. cold water Cut shortening into flour. Mix in salt. Stir in water with fork just until mixture forms a round ball. Yield: One 8-9 inch pie crust; double ingredients for 2 crusts. Bake at 425 degrees until golden brown; prick with fork to prevent bubbles and blisters. |
