FANTASTIC FRUIT SALAD 
1 (1 lb.) can fruit cocktail, drained
1 (15 oz.) can pineapple chunks, drained (reserve juice for sauce)
2 sm. cans Mandarin oranges, drained
2 apples, chopped into chunks
1 (3 1/2 oz.) can coconut
1 c. pecans, chopped (optional)

SAUCE:

1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 egg, beaten
1 c. orange juice
18 lg. marshmallows
Reserved pineapple juice

Combine sugar and cornstarch until smooth; add egg and juices. Cook until thick, add marshmallows. Chill until cool, add to fruit.
