CHOCOLATE TURTLE CHEESECAKE 
2 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
6 tbsp. melted butter

FILLING:

1 pkg. (14 oz.) caramels
1 c. (5 oz.) evaporated milk
1 c. toasted chopped pecans
1/2 c. sugar
16 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. To prepare crust, mix crumbs and butter in bowl until crumbly. Press over bottom and sides of 9 inch springform pan. Bake 10 minutes.

To prepare filling, melt caramels in evaporated milk in saucepan over low heat until smooth, stirring frequently; stir in pecans. Pour over crumb crust.

Cream the sugar, cream cheese and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well. Stir in melted chocolate; pour over caramel layer. Bake for 40 minutes or until set. Loosen from sides of pan. Cool in pan; remove sides. Chill until serving time.
