STICKY BUNS 
BREAD:

1/4 c. warm water
1 pkg. yeast
3/4 c. lukewarm milk (scald and cool to lukewarm)
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
1/4 c. shortening or oil
3 1/2 c. flour

Mix above, let rise, punch down, let rise a second time, punch down again.

Roll out dough in 15 x 9 inch oblong shape. Spread 2 teaspoons softened butter on dough.

FILLING:

1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Sprinkle over butter dough and roll up. Cut into desired size.

TOPPING:

1/3 c. melted butter
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. corn syrup
1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts

Cover bottom of oblong pan with above mixture. Place cut bread rolls on top of mixture, bake for 25 to 30 minutes at 375 degrees. Turn over immediately; let set a minute and remove pan.
