BUTTER PECAN TURTLE BARS 
Crust:

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened

Mix flour, sugar and butter to fine crumbs. Pat into ungreased 13x9-inch pan.

Topping:

1 cup pecan halves
2/3 cups butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup chocolate chips

Sprinkle pecans evenly over crust in pan.

Cook butter and brown sugar over medium heat until entire surface boils. Boil for 1/2 to 1 minute. Pour evenly over pecans in pan.

Bake at 350°F for 18 to 22 minutes, until entire surface is bubbly and crust is golden.

Remove from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Let chips melt and swirl them as they melt. Leave some whole; do not spread them. Cool and cut into small bars.
