LENTIL SOUP | |
1 1/2 c. lentils 6 c. cold water 2 stalks celery 1 med. onion 2 sm. carrots 1 clove garlic 1 cube beef bouillon Salt and pepper to taste Wash lentils in cold water; sort and drain. Place in a kettle with 6 cups water and salt. Then cover and simmer 30 minutes. Add sliced vegetables, beef bouillon and pepper and garlic. Simmer until vegetables are cooked. |
