MARSALA SPICE CAKE 
3/4 c. chopped nuts; optional
1 box yellow cake mix, Duncan Hines
1 (3 3/4 oz.) pkg. vanilla instant pudding
1 c. Marsala wine
1/2 c. vegetable oil
4 eggs
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Sprinkle nuts evenly in bottom of greased and floured bundt cake pan. Combine remaining ingredients in large mixer bowl. Blend then beat at medium speed for 2 minutes. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Turn out onto plate and brush warm cake with Marsala glaze.

GLAZE:

1/4 c. Marsala wine
1/3 c. sugar

Heat in small saucepan until sugar is dissolved. Bake for 50 minutes; check after 45 minutes.

Thank you for posting this! Years ago I lived in Atlanta and made this recipe- I think I had gotten it from a co-worker. Over the years the recipe disappeared and I have been longing to make it again- I am pretty sure this is, if not exactly, very similar to what I used to make. Can't wait to try it again!
