SCOTTISH SHORTBREAD 
1 lb. butter
1 c. cornstarch
1 c. super fine sugar
4 c. flour, sifted

Combine and mix dry ingredients. Add butter and mix. Knead with hands 5 to 10 minutes. Press into large oblong pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour. While warm, sprinkle with super fine sugar.
