PUNCH BOWL CAKE 
1 box butter cake mix
2 lg. boxes vanilla instant pudding
2 (12 oz.) Cool Whip
2 cans strawberry pie filling
1 med. can chunk pineapple
1 lg. pkg. coconut
1 sm. bottle cherries
2 1/2 c. chopped pecans

Mix cake as directed on box. Bake in a long pan. When done, cool, cut into 4 sections. Mix vanilla pudding as directed on box; set aside. In large punch bowl start first layer with cake. (Mix coconut, pecans, pineapple chunks and cherries along as you desire.) But first crumble cake in small pieces, using 1 section at a time. Next a layer of pudding, then a layer of coconut, then a layer of pecans, then a layer of pie filling, then a layer of Cool Whip. Continue layers until all mixture is used. Top with Cool Whip.
