STEAK WITH PEPPERS AND ONIONS 
2 lb. round steak
2 med. onions, sliced
2 bell peppers, cut in strips
Salt
Shortening

Melt shortening in bottom of heavy skillet with lid. Use just enough shortening for covering the bottom of pan. Cut steak into small bite-size pieces. Brown in shortening. Add onions, peppers and sprinkle with salt. Cook over low heat, covered, stirring until meat is tender and vegetables are cooked. You need to lift lid so often and stir to prevent sticking. Yield: Serves 4.
