VIRGINIA'S APPLE PUDDING 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. milk
2 c. cooked or canned apples

Melt butter in 2 quart casserole. Combine next six ingredients to make batter; pour on butter. Drain apples; pile in center of batter. Bake in 375 degree oven until batter covers apples and crust browns, about 30 to 40 minutes. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
