CREAMY PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE | |
2 c. sugar 2/3 c. milk 1/4 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. corn syrup 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. peanut butter (crunchy or creamy) Mix sugar, salt, corn syrup and milk in pan. Bring to boil slowly. Cook until small amount forms soft ball in cold water (260 degrees on candy thermometer). Remove from heat, add peanut butter and vanilla. Do not stir. Cool until lukewarm. Beat just until creamy, losing gloss and beginning to hold shape. Pour into buttered pan and cool. Cut into squares. |
