CREAMY PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE 
2 c. sugar
2/3 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. light corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. peanut butter (crunchy or smooth)

Mix sugar, salt, syrup, and milk in heavy saucepan. Bring to boil slowly, stirring. Do NOT stir once mixture boils. Cook until small amount forms a soft ball in cold water (260 degrees on candy thermometer).

Remove from heat; add peanut butter and vanilla; do not stir. Cool to lukewarm. Beat just until creamy, losing gloss and holding shape. Pour into greased pan. Cool; cut into squares.
