ALMOND BARS 
1 c. butter (2 sticks)
2 c. flour
1/2 c. powdered sugar

SECOND LAYER:

8 oz. cream cheese
2 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. almond extract
1 c. sliced almonds

FROSTING:

1/4 c. butter
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. almond extract

Mix crust and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minute sin 9 x 13 inch pan. Pat sliced almonds over crust. Beat second layer ingredients until creamy and pour over crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool and frost.
