MOM'S GRAVY (SPAGHETTI SAUCE) 
1 lb. ground beef, browned
2 lbs. boneless chicken breast, cut into chunks
3 lbs. boneless center cut pork chops, cut into chunks
1 1/2 tsp. sweet basil
1 1/2 tsp. parsley
1 1/2 tsp. basil leaves
2 tsp. oregano
1 lg. onion, diced
1 section fresh garlic, diced fine
1/2 tsp. hot red pepper (optional)
1 (16 oz.) can tomato puree
2 (16 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste

In skillet brown ground beef, onions and garlic. In large pot, combine puree, sauce, paste, spices, chicken and pork, (chicken and pork are uncooked). When ground beef is done, add skillet mixture to large pot. Add 1 (16 ounce) can of water. Do not drain ground beef unless grease is excessive. Simmer at least 4 hours. If sauce tastes acidy, add 1/2 teaspoon sugar.
