CHEESEBURGER CHOWDER 
1 lb. ground beef
2 med. potatoes, peeled and cubed (about 2 c.)
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/4 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. chopped green bell peppers
1 tbsp. instant beef granules
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. milk
3 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

In a 3-quart saucepan, brown beef and drain off excess fat. Stir in potatoes, celery, onion, green peppers, bouillon granules, salt and 1 1/2 cup water. Cover and cook until vegetables are tender, 15 to 20 minutes.

Blend 1/2 cup of the milk with the flour. Add to saucepan along with remaining milk. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Add cheese and heat until cheese melts. Serves 6-8.
