FRENCH CANADIAN TOURTIERE 
1 lb. ground beef and pork, mixed
2 onions (med.)
4 potatoes
Pie crust for 2 crust pie.

Stir and cook meat and 1 onion, chopped for about 1 hour in large kettle. Salt and pepper while cooking. Boil potatoes and 1 onion separately. When cooked, add to meat mixture after draining and mash together with hand masher until smooth. Salt and pepper to taste. Add 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon ground clove (more or less). Place in pie crust and cover with top crust. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes, 350 degrees for 30 minutes until golden brown. Swish milk on top crust before baking.
