OVEN SWISS STEAK | |
1 1/2 lbs. round steak 1/4 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 16 oz. can tomatoes 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/2 c. chopped celery 1/2 c. chopped carrots 2 tbsp. chopped onion Cut meat up. Mix flour and salt. Pound into meat. Set aside the rest of the flour. Brown meat in small amount of shortening. Put meat in baking dish. Blend rest of flour in skillet with fat. Add rest of ingredients. Cook until boiling. Pour over meat. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours. |
