1/2 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. white corn syrup 3/4 c. peanut butter 4 c. Special K or Rice Krispies 1. Mix sugar, corn syrup and vanilla in 2 quart saucepan. 2. Bring mixture to a boil, then quickly remove from heat. (Don't let it boil, remove from heat as it starts to boil). 3. Stir in peanut butter and then add cereal. Mix well. 4. Press mixture into greased 9 1/2 x 13 inch pan evenly. 5. Make topping by melting together 6 ounce package butterscotch chips and 6 ounce package chocolate chips. Spread over cereal mixture in pan. 6. Refrigerate for 15 minutes or until set. Cut into squares and serve. |
