ONION BUTTER 
1 envelope LiptonŽ Onion Soup mix
1 8-oz. container whipped butter, or 1/2 lb. butter, softened

Mix LiptonŽ Onion Soup mix with butter.

Store refrigerated.

Makes about 1 1/4 cups.

Onion-Buttered Bread: Spread Onion Butter between slices of French or Italian bread; wrap in foil and heat in a preheated 375°F oven for 15 to 20 minutes.

Onion-Buttered Baked Potatoes: Wrap potatoes in foil and bake until tender (45-60 minutes depending upon size). Split potato open and butter with 1 or 2 tablespoons of onion butter. Rewrap with foil and allow to sit for several minutes before serving.

Onion-Buttered Whipped Potatoes: Add 1/2 cup Onion Butter and 1/2 cup milk to 4 cooked potatoes. Mix and beat til fluffy.
