You will need an old whisk. Using a wire cutter, cut the whisk at the bottom to have an open whisk.

In a saucepan, mix sugar and water. Let come to boil and add vanilla. Whisk it onto a wooden spoon. Take it off wooden spoon and put on cotton candy stick.
