ONION PIE 
2 9 inch pie shells
2 lb. Vidalia onions thinly sliced
1 stick butter
3 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. white pepper
1/4 tsp. hot sauce
grated Romano cheese

Preheat heat oven to 350.

Bake pie shells for 8 minutes.

Melt butter in saucepan and sauté onions until clear, take off heat. In bowl, combine eggs, sour cream, salt, pepper and hot sauce. Add to onions, pour into pie shells and sprinkle cheese on top.

Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Turn heat down to 325 and bake for 15 more minutes or until lightly brown.
