SPECIAL CHOCOLATE CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 stick butter
1/2 c. Crisco
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift together dry ingredients except cocoa. In saucepan combine and bring to boil, butter, Crisco, cocoa and water. Pour over sifted dry ingredients and beat. Add buttermilk, eggs and vanilla. Beat well and pour into a buttered 9 x 12 inch pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.

ICING:

1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 box powdered sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans

Melt butter, cocoa, and milk in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Add sugar, vanilla and pecans and beat while still on the stove. Remove from heat. Beat a little more and spread on cake while still hot.
