CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
1 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
4 tbsp. liquid artificial sweetener
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 beaten egg
1/2 c. (3 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Sift together the dry ingredients. Cream butter and add sweetener, vanilla and egg; blending well. Add flour mixture and beat well. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by level teaspoonsful on a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes. Makes 36 cookies.

Each Cookie with 48 calories, 1/2 gram protein, 3 1/2 grams fat and 3 1/2 grams carbohydrate. 4 cookies equal 1 bread exchange and 3 fat exchanges.
